HELP !! Leaking rear window

Around december my rear window started leaking water from the left top corner, passenger side. I have a stereo system in there and it was getting wet!! I put a new seal in it myself, didn't work. I got a local auto window shop to install a new window and seal. It was fine for about a month or so, and now it's leaking again, from the same place, wtf? My one sub is getting water in it, which is not good at all!
Has anyone had this problem, i know a couple people with rangers but they didn't have the problem. Not a ton of water gets in, just like a shot or so in a decent quick rain.
Why would it do this, I think it is from the truck torquing over bumps and road conditions, which are pretty crazy in my area of pennsylvania.
What should I do, have Ford fix it, and probably have the problem soon again?
I want to get rid of my ranger, it gets no gas mileage and rides like a brick.

Mine started doing it too recently. It is leaking from the driver's side though. I think I'm just going to leave it for now since I don't have any speakers back there at all.

2 things to check, third brake light leaking, or the glass i popped out. the popped out glass is more common in the 04 and later reg cabs, the taller seats push out the glass. now that i see your an ex-cab, i would just check the gasket on the third brake light.

In my case, it is the window, though it doesn't look like it is popped out. The water comes in where that little trim peice is at the corner of the cab.

talking to the service manager here, he tells me ford uses a poor mounting system in the ranger, only a few clips. they had my wifes truck repaired by a glass company, and now i cant push out the window with my legs. and i tried! supposedly there is a TSB out, but not sure which rangers it applies to. of course im not saying this is your problem, just one that ive dealt with myself

It's not the 3rd brake light, that's the first thing i checked. It's a fact that the seal is broken. It's coming in at the same spot as the first time. My window is held in by 8 nuts, the 8 screws/threads are part of the plastic trim which is part of the window, the screws go threw holes in the truck and the nuts go on from the inside. It's hard to get out, i did it to seal it the first time, and the sealant holds it in pretty tight too.
My case sounds the same as pacodiablo's. I conclude that the truck torques so much, expecially with ext cabs, I think that the reg cabs are sturdier in the spot because it is the only part of the body holding the roof up and to hold the door closed. With ext cab, the rear doors are supposed to act as a support too, which weakens the rear part, where it is leaking.
Also the ext cab is longer which would cause it to torque more.
thanks for the replys, we should do something about this if more people come up with the problem

I've been fighting this problem forever. I've changed the seal. I've also tried sealing the window with silicone and that was a no go to. I've filled my 3rd brake light with silicone so i know it's not that. I've finally decided to by the rear window shade from ventvisor. It sticks to the cab above the window seal and it will direct the water away so I'm hoping i won't have any leaks. I've ruined one of my sub boxes so I've learned the hard way.

Yeah mine leaks too, im for sure its coming from the third brake light though because the seal is really hard and is lifted off the truck. So the rain gets in there and runs down to the passenger side of the truck and just drips in the corner, but i dont really care, because i really dont have anything back there.

Mine hasn't been leaking too much now in the summer, I think the seal heats up from the sun and heat and seals better. But, in the winter/fall when the seal is going to shrink and not seal as good, is when it leaks.
I thought of looking for a vent visor or something as crazy_spl mentioned. My box is covered with vinal/leather so the water just runs down the window on to the covered box and down to the floor, but around my subs, which isn't nice at all, when it rains, I jam towels around the window and it soaks up most of the water. It's a pain though. The vent visor seems like a solution.
