well i should be getting my ranger back this Friday finally its been about 5 weeks since the crash I'd like to start modding a bit and I'll start with the lights, i have a nice set of 9007 hi/low hid's coming and I'd like to switch all my marker and brake lights with led's now my question is this for the rear brake lights should i go with a red led or should i go with a white led seeing how the lens is already red. which would be brighter if anyone has picks of there own please show em also I'm not sure if it would be better to do the H3 reverse light mod or if it would look nicer with an Led reverse light, which would be brighter and which would require less modding, again any picks of your H3 or led reverse lights would be welcome. as soon as my truck gets out of the shop i'll be posting picks of the repairs. along with the original damage pics.

 

Red will make the light deeper, I think a white LED behind a red lens might make it look pink. I've got L1224R RED Fiber Optic LED's behind my 06 tails... It's awesome.

I wouldn't do the H3 mod, unless you upgrade the wiring, or run a separate relay just to those bulbs. I'm running White 63-LED 3156's and it looks sweet at night. They're almost a xenon color white.

 

ok so leds are better in the reverse lights but are they brighter and were did you buy your leds from

 

i have leds in the rear lights. got mine from vleds

Does anyone have a link to LED reverse bulbs? It would be nice to have some more light backing up.
