What LED 9007 Headlight bulbs are u all putting in a 2002 Ranger? or can you? Is High Beam and Low beam use the same bulb?

 

 

Do you use these? Seems like mods to the light..Do all rangers need the mod to the lights?

 

I have read a lot on LED Bulbs in OEM and HID Housing on the Web and all I can determine is the the LED Bulbs are not designed to work in these housings and will cause an excessive amount of GLARE !

Believe me when I say I took months reading and rereading, watching videos after video and came to one conclusion, the best bulbs cost around $150.00 (give or take$$$) and Projector Retrofit Kits are around $280 on sale, why waste your money on LED Bulbs when you can have projectors with a little more cash and a little work ?

Sorry that was off subject a little but I found that most LED Bulbs are not setup properly to work with the OEM Housing Reflectors !

I ended up with a Projector Kit, waiting to do the Mod !

Unless the housings are different than my Highlander, I have LEDs in it and it is awesome..some guys also use HIDs and like them..I just like LEDs. I did install LEDs in my foglights. Since Rangers use dual bulbs they are just harder to find.. RockAuto has some at least better ones altho not LED..
