super lift suspension lifts for 4wd torsion trucks have a bunch of brackets and a taller knuckle in order to simply lower the spring location/pick up points. is that an alteration?

ok so here's a question; I am not familiar with the 2wd torsion setup.
torsion 2wds have spindles? or knuckles with some modification
If 2wd torsion has modded knuckles, are the mounting points (a arms) similar where those knuckles could be replaced with spindles ...or lift spindles?
Sorry, but like i said, I don't know much about the 2wd suspension

knuckle and spindle are two commonly used names for the same part.
technically the spindle is the part the wheel bearings actually ride on. thus, the term knuckle is more likely to be used to refer to a 4wd part as the 4wd doesnt have an actual spindle.

[QUOTE=04 EDGE;910663]most of the trucks above are 2wd with spindle lifts, not a true suspension lift.QUOTE]
So...a superlift isn't a real suspension lift either? It uses extended knuckles (aka a spindle with a hole in it) and drops the front crossmember. Last I checked the only way to lift a vehicle was a suspension lift, body lift, or cut the hell outta the fenders and put some big meats on it. Spindles definitly aren't part of the body or bigger tires. Spindle lifts are suspension lifts.

It doesnt matter if your dropping the spindle to gain the lift you still change a stock part or (alter / tamper ) thus gaining lift = suspension lift go rain on someone elses parade ...
