Well I am finally going to be getting a used transmission to replace mine that has been broken for over 6 months. I am wanting to pick it up on my way home from St. Louis on Friday the only problem is i am in my car. I was wondering if you guys thought if i could fit it in my trunk so that i dont have to drive 2 hours home and then get my dads truck and drive 2 hours to get and and 2 hours back.

 

I've carried an M5ODR1 in the trunk of a Focus and a ZF and an M5ODR2 in my Fusion.

 

I have a saturn coupe so its not a big car but neither is a focus. so it should fit?

 

i have had a t5 in the trunk of a 626, so yes.

 

Alright thanks guys i guess i will pick it wiht the car and save $60 in gas!

 

Just take some rope to tie the trunk shut just in case it won't close all the way.

not any more than if i had one or two other people in it.
