mud under door

you know where your running boards mount, all those opening fill full of mud and what not. I was wondering if anyone has patched the wholes so it dosent do that.

yeah, its usually not that bad, but this last time i went mudding it was packed full

a few sections of sheet metal.. ha

if im washing it off at home i just shove the hose up there and let it drain out over time

My 97 and 98 didn't have the rectangular holes cut in the underside of the rocker panels, but my 02 does, salt loves to sit in there so some of you may want to check it out a little more often.

if the holes were not there you could not clean them out at all. yeah they are a pain but at least you can clean them out

I'm pretty sure the 2 door extended cabs don't have them though. I know the 4dr ones do, and it is pretty much just to clean it out

X2. If the holes werent there the salt/ mud would just find a way in and sit there. Atleast this way it washes out.

I think your right I haven't noticed them on my truck.
