It looks great! I have 45,000 on mine. I wish mine had the 4.0. Mine came pretty bare bones. No power anything, no tilt wheel or cruise. I would like to buy another FX4 but I have this one paid off! Lol. I like not having any payments. I am installing my amplifier tonight. Alpine 4.100, 4 channel. I will post up some pics.

What size are those BFG's that you put on? I'm looking to go a bit bigger but I was wondering because those kind of filled out the wheel wells and your truck is the same height as mine.

I was at the salvage yard today and saw this. I have never seen one before. It is a ford factory panel. It goes where the passenger airbag cover panel is located. It must have been an airbag delete package if there is such a thing. Because the plug for the airbag was attached to the panel.[IMG][/IMG]

I was at the yard looking for rear jump seats. They had a really nice yellow 2002 edge with what I needed. But I cant touch it until the title is released (bummer) i got to wait about a week. It only had 30,000 on it. it was a rollover so the interior is in awesome shape and it was very clean. Seats were 60/40 but clean and had rubber floor in great condition. Does anybody need anything from it?? send me a pm any small items i can ship. As soon as it is released. Ill go back later and take pics.

Yep Nathan, I got mine as a dealer swap and never thought an XLT could look that plain. I thought those oem tires were much to small for the wheel wells too. Took a few months but after the first mod it was easy to keep going.

Installed my alpine amp to power the factory sub in center console. It actually sounds pretty good. I need to get a better head unit. I don't like the options it has for the sub control. I think a better head unit will help clean up the sound. I'll post pics up tomorrow morning.

Hey Joe, I got lucky. I paid cash for this truck. It was brand new when I bought it and I paid 13,000.00. I bought it in 2007 it was a leftover Dom 2006. Thanks for the kind words.

Amp installed. I need to clean up the rca wiring a little bit. I left it visible until I got it dialed in. The seat is pushed all the way forward. When it is in position you cant see the amp.[IMG][/IMG]

Just a pic of the center console. I cant believe how good the sub sounds. I was going to replace it with a JL audio W36V sub. but I thought what the heck let me at least see how this one sounds. Im glad I did. Next I am going to change the 4 6x8 speakers. Everything seems to be coming along good. This center console sub affair was probably my biggest concern (worry). I want to put some rancho shocks on next. I am thinking about putting in a stock ford rubber floor. I am going to pick one up maybe next week out of a 2008 ranger. I really want rear jump seats. The ones i previously posted about are in a 4 door ranger and mine is a 2 door. So I dont think they will work. Gonna call ford today and confirm. [IMG][/IMG]

Hey Joe, the stock was ok. But I started installing car audio at a shop in Florida in 1986. Then I owned a shop in the mid 1990's, along with my barge business. I sold the shop but i still love music. Im older now so I like to keep everything looking as stock as possible. I need the room in the truck. Plus doing a system stealth is really challenging and I like that. back to your question, when the sub and console were in the original truck i had, it sounded great. But it sounds better now, because I have more control with an aftermarket head unit. Plus the Alpine amp has more power and is better quality. I need to make a fiberglass copy of the sub enclosure, so more Ranger guys can use it because it does sound really good and has great bass response. And it takes up hardly any usable space. I just need to get the molding shop by my house to mold the extended center console for me. Thanks for the compliment Joe.
