Long story short my buddy backed it into a try and the left tail light is out and the tailgate can’t close, damage is not super significant, waiting on insurance to see how much they will pay me. Should I buy it back and how should I go about getting it road-worthy again?

 

How much do you like the truck? Is it worth it to you to buy it back?

All you really need is a new bed, tailgate, bumper, taillights, and maybe the sockets for the bulbs. Wouldn't be hard to fix it, but painting everything to match won't be cheap.
