Alright, so I'm trying to finish up some stuff on the truck and one of them is getting the smog situation worked out.

I've got everything hooked up and now I have this code.. P0455 Evap Emissions Control System Leak (large). I have a pretty good idea of what it can be, but I'm coming to you to see if you guys have any ideas that I haven't thought of already.

So lets hear it! What could this be?!?

Well is that picture recent? A large leak code could be from a gas cap off, a broken evap line or if you had the bed off you could have screwed up the fuel neck or vapor line with it. That's my best guess.

 

Are you even using the Stock pump? Also still have the Evap Canister on the truck? I pull the same code without the Evap Canister on at all. I think its 455, ill check tomorrow.

 

I'm running an external pump. I do have the Evap canister and it is wired/plumbed like stock, sorta.

Do you smell gas? I mean I smell Gas with my truck all the time now without the Evap canister. I have my canister if you would like to try a different canister.
