I have a 2000 ranger 4 x 4 with a manual transmission. I have no power when climbing hills anything under 2500 RPM is a rough idol. I’m throwing no codes as well. I’ve recently changed plugs and wires. Can’t figure out what’s wrong. Can anybody help?

 

I'd start looking for fuel or vacuum issues.

 

I could see possibly the fuel pump and /or filter. If it was an injector that would throw a code correct?

 

I don't understand "I have no power when climbing hills anything under 2500 RPM is a rough idol". Idle is well below 2500 rpm. Does it have good power over 2500 rpm? Is the engine smooth over 2500 rpm but still low on power?

 

yes that’s correct the engine smooths out but still has a power loss even an exit ramp I can barely climb with my foot on the floor.
