Need help, Only have RND

I didn't know where to post this so I figured here is as good a spot as any. I'm new to the forums lol
I own a 2001 Ranger XLT with a 4.0. The other day I got in my ranger like normal and went to shift into Reverse, only when I did the gear indicator stayed over P. I shifted into drive and it displayed that the truck was in Neutral. Since then that alignment's all messed up and I only have RND available to me.I took off the plastic cover and plate over the steering column I noticed something peculiar.. A mounting hole sheared off of part of the shifting assembly. Honestly I wish I knew the name of this part and how to replace it. I can't afford to take it to a shop, I have to do this myself. Please help lol. I can supply more pictures/videos if needed

Notice the shear?

Welcome to the forum

Have a read here and check the videos and links: https://www.ranger-forums.com/drivet...o-park-151515/

Ford column shifters, are known for becoming loose, so loads of videos on that issue, Ranger or Van or F-150 all used same shift setup
