im heading to the junk yard tomorrow to get a few thing. im gonna be picking up a parking light, headlight switch, and a gas tank filler neck. my headlight switch broke so i went and bought a duralast one from autozone, it works great, but the **** doesnt fit snug on the piece like the original one. so i was wondering if there was certain years that would fit my truck. also when i was removing my headlight switch i didnt know how to take my dash out and it was dark so i ended up breaking it out on accident. so how do you take the dash out? I also need to pick up a filler neck because mine has a crack in it and i was wondering which years would fit and which years wouldnt. btw i drive a 97 ex cab xlt 4x4

the switch should be from 95-03

Filler neck I have no idea. But since bed didn't change ever, any 93+ style-side should fit. The flareside filler necks will not.

To take the dash off you need to take off the the radio and radio bezel. Then the lower dash panel where you knees are at. Then the upper dash panel. You will need to disconnect some pigtail all the way and remove all your *****. It all just pops out so if you have to pull hard to get it off you probably missed a nut somewhere.
