Need some opinions on a lift kit offer..

A co worker of mine said he has a friend who is willing to sell me his fabtech spindle lift with shocks for 300 bucks. He did use the lift but it was only on his truck for 4 months. From what my co worker said, these things look brand new and were never taken off road in the four months he had them on.

Its an interesting offer. What would you guys say about it? Is it a good idea to buy a used lift kit, or should I save my money for something else?

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Seems like a good price for new condition. The spindles usually go for around $400 and the shocks will put you out another $200.

Ya I heard those fabtech shocks are junk. Definitely shell out the money for Bilsteins.

Go for it....it would be the best $300 you spend on the truck.

ok, call me stupid, but what all is involved in a spindle lift and how good/expensive are they, i have been looking for a lift and only one i have found is from superlift for a complete suspension lift-$1500 for everything for a 4" front and "3 in back

There should be more then just superlift, where abouts have you looked?

Question, Out of the spindle lefts that are left for 2wds, how does fabtech compare to doestch, springtech, and pro comp? Pro comp stopped making theirs which is a bummer but if i could get pro comp still i probably would. Ive heard good things about pro comp and mixed about Fabtech.

wont work for you since you are 4x4...suspension lifts for you start at around 1000 i think you can body lift for around 200 i think...

there are some threads on here about the different kinds...i think most people on here aer using the doestch since they are a lot cheaper than the fabtech. Griggs has used both and he posted up a comparison on here somewhere...

The Fabtech spindles give a wider stance and maybe a half inch more lift.
