"New" 2009 Ranger - keep or sell?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area.

I recently inherited a "new" 2009 Red Ranger 4D XLT. It was purchased from the factory, rolled into a garage and has basically never been driven aside from the occasional start up to move it out of the way. It has about 80 miles on the odometer. I have had it serviced to get the fuel pump replaced, in running order,... My question is what to do with it? As it is essentially new does it have more value than its blue book value? Or is it just a 2009 Ranger with low miles and I should treat it as such?

Any insight, opinions, or advice is most welcomed.

If, after having it serviced, and there are absolutely no problems, then it is worth more than your average 11 year old Ranger.
I speak from experience....I have a 2009 Ranger XL, 2 WD, standard cab. When I got it March of 2019 it only has 22.000 miles on it. Gave it a complete service, new tires.
I use it as a hobby/cruise. show truck as there is not a mark on it. I have been offered as high as $14.000 for it from private parties, and as high as $12,000 from a dealer towards a trade in on a new truck.
Don't need the $$$ or a new truck as the Ranger is a gem. I have done a few modifications to it, but nothing that can't be reverted back to stock.
If you don't need or want a small truck, than sell it. No company currently makes a "small" truck, snd you would have no problem selling it on a speciality web site dedicated to low mileage vehicles, even e-bay.
If you decide to keep it, try to use it as a hobby/cruiser type vehicle, and as long as you keep the condition perfect and mileage low, you'll have a truck that will last another 10 years with no problems.

It really all depends on if you want to keep it or not. It is pretty cool to have a ranger that is as close to new as yours is, and if you really like it that way then by all means keep it. If you don't really care much for it, and would be just as happy without it, you could probably sell it for quite the buck. It all just comes down to whether you want the ranger or the space more. I will say one thing though. If you do decide to sell it you will probably never see one of these rangers that new again.

Just for fun, I entered your Ranger at Kelly Blue Book to get an idea of value. If the interior and exterior are in new condition equal to the mileage, then they indicate it's value, with 100 miles, as around 10,000 trade in and 13,500 private party.
I think you would get more from a private buyer as there aren't any more small trucks being produced and many are looking for one. A pristine example would bring a premium.
As long as you keep it in good condition, you can rack up some miles without hurting its value. But once you start using it as a "truck", using it daily and hauling stuff, it will accumulate the normal ware'tare scratches, dents in bed, ect.
Value will go down accordingly.
If you need a truck as an everyday "work" truck than sell it and buy something else. If your looking to use it as a cruiser and show/cruise in type truck, than keep it.

Thank you for all your input. I really appreciate the different perspectives. I have some emotional attachment with the vehicle and given the circumstances I may consider keeping it.

If you decide to sell, I have a buddy looking for a low mileage 4 wheel drive.
Thanks,
Gary
