New battery new alternator not charging battery

Okay I have a 94 2.3l I followed the steps as started above. I used a multimeter to check the fusible link and that was fine then I checked the connector on the alternator (yellow wire) and that showed zero volts so I traced it back to the fuse box in the engine bay and the fuse was missing but not only that a lot of the fuses were loose so I took apart the fuse box and there's no connections behind it so my question is what does that yellow wire connect to after the fuse box? Upon further examination, I traced the yellow wire from the alternator back to the fuse box, which was in a different location, then I traced wire from the other side of the fuse all the way down to a clip that has 2 weird coming out of it, (light green wire with a yellow stripe and a black wire) the clip ends there I do not know where the mail connection to this female plug goesPlease help

Welcome to the forum

Alternator has 3 wires connected to vehicle
B+ wire, larger wire, usually Black/Orange stripe wire, and can be 2 wires but on one connector, goes to starter relay post where Battery Positive cable is connected, yes these usually use Fusible links at the starter relay end
B+ wire should show battery volts when tested at alternator end, if so fusible link is OK

Then there is a 2 or 3 wire connector for the voltage regulator inside the alternator
White wire is just a short jumper wire, not there on some alternators, but if its there it must be plugged in to single spade terminal next to the 3 wire terminal

Yellow/white stripe wire is the monitor voltage for regulator, it should also have battery voltage all the time, usually from a 15amp fuse in the engine fuse box, labelled ALT SYS
Yellow wire has no other connections, should run straight to fuse box
If you think this wire has been altered by previous owner then you can use an inline 15amp fuse and hook the Yellow wire to the B+ terminal, so just a short jumper on alternator wiring

B+ and the yellow wire are both hooked directly to battery positive full time, via starter relay post or fuse box
Yellow wire's fuse should be on fuse box Bus Bar, bar has full time 12v that powers all the full time fuses in that box, so there is no in/out wiring for the yellow wire, just in from alternator to one side of the fuse, other side of the fuse has 12volts all the time

Battery positive------starter relay post-----fuse box/bus bar----------ALT SYS fuse--------------------(yellow wire)-----------------------alternator connector

The light green/red wire at alternator is from the cabs Battery Light in the cluster, this is the ON/OFF switch for alternator so it doesn't drain the battery when key is off
This wire should have 12volts only when key is ON, and 0 volts key off
Without this 12v key on, the alternator can not start to generate any voltage, so not only an on/off switch it also provides "startup voltage" needed
The battery light comes on with key on, that means the 12v is present, battery light going off after start up means the alternator is generating more than 12volts now, so is working
