tensioner pully

Hey guys, my tensioner pully was making a real bad squeeking noise so i took it off and cleaned/greased it. When I put it back on i snapped the pin that is stiking out in the back that alligned with the hole .. Now I just ordered a new one and was wondering how you guys go about putting that tensioner pully back on? I dont want to snap the new one :S . will the part work without that pin to lock it?

no auto zone down here but i tried a few parts store and they wanted 86$Cdn.. ford was actually cheaper at 63$ but didnt have any in stock so thats why i ordered it but i think im gonna cancel it. Anyways i getto fabbed it and just drilled a bolt into it where the pin snapped and im back in business with no squeeks :) I was aware that i just put it back the same way it was with the bolt but there was a pin behind too that aligned with a hole and it had snapped of when i was tightening the actual bolt.. if that makes sence .. anyways im fixed and happy
