most of that stuff is not accessible unless u raise the bed.

i DID GET THAT LED HEADLIGHT ISSUE FIXED. THEY WERE LIFETIME WARRANTY FROM HEADLIGHTEXPERTS.COM

GETTING NEW ONES AT ONLY AN UPGRADE DIFFERENCE OF $ 17 PER SIDE

UPDATE : Nov 3. Very poor communication & service from Headlightexperts.com. Had my bank reverse the payment, and simutaneously e mailed them to cancel.

Got what i needed here in town at Autozone.

I don’t think my FIL ever treated the fuel system. I emptied a bottle of Techtron this morning into a full tank, bought one and got one bottle free. I figured it can’t hurt.

I think we have a Borg Warner transfer case. I used to know. I changed the fluid once. It uses transmission fluid.

Cleaned my MAF sensor this morning using a specific MAF CRC cleaner from NAPA. . I doubt it has ever been cleaned so we’ll see if there is any noticeable difference.
Truck is running great, as I am getting 17.6 -18 mpgs highway. Another regular maintenance detail ✅ off.

I removed the old EGR valve and it could see it was pretty dirty inside. I bought and installed a new one from NAPA this morning as they actually had one in stock. It took approx 15 min to remove the old and install the new taking my time. This video made it pretty simple.
Since I cleaned the MAF and replaced the EGR I hear a really noticeable difference in the engine as it now idles/purrs perfectly.

Well the topper is in the paint shop getting prepped and primed for a fresh coat of Sonic Blue met. I will post up photos some time next week after it gets reinstalled.

For now she’s topless with new Edge decals.

I am having this higher quality rubber seal installed between the topper and bed rail. It makes for a water tight seal. The foam tape used by most topper installers is worthless. It flattens out after a few months. This works great on my F350 ARE topper so the Leer topper will get it as well.

I think the paint shop did an amazing job on restoring the Leer 100R topper to Sonic Blue. Happy!

Decided not to pay $164 for a rubber bed mat and bought this 4’x6’ rubber mat at Tractor Supply for $60. I patterned it and made my own.
