Yeah I'm pretty sure you have to get a entire hub assembly to fix it.

32mm socket (rent it), breaker bar, maybe a hammer, cotter pins, metric socket set, large crescent wrench, jackstand, and a floor jack.

Its a Hub assembly, your gonna need a torq wrench, probably like a 32mm socket for hub nut, 15mm, or 13mm for the 3 bolts that hold the hub on.

Step 1. jack truck up and take off wheel.
2. dissasemble brakes on bad bearing side.
3. turn wheel as far as you can and locate 3 bolts that hold the bearing on from the backside of the knuckle and remove bolts.
4. remove CV shaft hub nut from shaft.
5. try and break hub loose from the knucke, they are usualy coroded on real bad.
6. after hub is free, try and get the CV shaft to slide through bearing without screwing up threads on shaft. This may be tuff but they do have a speacial tool you might need that you can rent at an auto store.
7. reassemble in reverse order, be sure to use anti sieze on hub surface and where hub slides into knuckle.
8. after getting hub bolted into bearing and shaft slid back through bearng your going to need to Torq the hub nut to I belive 150-200, ask auto parts store for exact spec.
9. reassemble brakse and remount tire then lower truck.

This is the hub, backside up. you can see where the 3 bolts go into the back side through the knuckle
this is somewhat of a blown up pick of a 2wd but you can tell what you have to do to remove the hub.

make sure you torq that hub nut. If it is not torqued right your hub will seperate and fail within 5 miles

let me tell you guys that you haven't lived until you replace wheel bearings in a hotel parking lot with a wedding on the beach right behind you. Fortunately I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

thanks for all the help guys, it would have been a major pain in the @$$ if i had not known all the tools i needed to get the job done.

thanks,
BamaRanger
