first of all i am a newb to the site yes but not to ford cars and trucks. ur right about all those parts but i said there was a lack of them, i did not say that there wernt any at all. ic ould make a list of all the 4.6 parts and it would be the same as the one that u previously stated BUT the availability and diversity of these parts is where the 4.6 begins to pull away. both the 4.0 and the 4.6 are great engines, i have a 4.0 in my explorer, but the 4.0 just floods the mustang market. im not saying the v6 mustang is bad it just needs to be regulated so to speak. and yes i think i do have my "shat" straight.

 

There isnt any lack of parts. You say the 4.0 floods the market? How long has the 4.6 been in stangs??? 10 years!!! well 11 now, the only thing is, the new 4.6 is 3valve...

 

when i say the 4.0 i mean the v6 mustang. when ur driving down the road and u see a mustang chances are it is the v6 not a gt.

 

I see more GTs then V-6's.
