Hey all,
I just wanted to let you all know I no longer have my Ranger. My wife found some kid who just got his license and is need of a vehicle. We sold it to him and his parents in two days.

I will miss the Ranger......

But I have good news as well. The following weekend the wife and I went to Seattle and I bought a 2009 F150. I have been looking around at f150 forums but I haven't really found one I like yet.

Looks nice. But I dont like the newer front ends on 'em. Looks like a downs kid when you see them in the rearview. But thats just my opinion.

I agree with you about the front end. I was actually going for an 08 but I got this one for less and it was such a better deal I couldn't pass it up.

 

Thats pretty sweet. Me and the misses were looking at this 08' model (F150) and we were going to use the Ranger as a trade in, after all the paper work and everything, they ended up wanting another 3500 down. I told him he's crazy. (They told us originally 1500 down). So I said to hell with it, and proudly got back in the ranger and drove off the lot giving him the finger.

Looks great. I miss my old F-150 sometimes. The gas mileage on the 09's is supposed to be unreal for a V8. BTW I actually love the front ends on the 09's. I think it looks sexy.

I am actually getting better gas mileage on my F150 V8 than I was on my 98 Ranger 3.0 & it's a bit more powerful too.

The front end it growing on me. The chrome looks nice with the black paint. My future mods include the front bumper with fog lights, nerf bars and a bed liner.

This thing rides so nice.

the new f150's are okay. but it would look better lifted with some nice meats on it

 

I like the new front end on the 09 those trucks are amazing. I would love to have one but am not wanting the payments

I was thinking the same thing! I love the 09s and the wheel choices. Not those wheels pictured though. Man they are nice trucks.

Very nice. They are pretty decent looking trucks.

 

I love the truck so far and I am glad I got it. The transmission is amazing. I haven't even had a vehicle with 6 gears before. I will have to try 1st gear out on the trails this Spring in some mud. If you get it one and drive it you will buy it.

Mine is the XLT, but it's pretty basic. I didn't got for the navigation, chrome package and sunroof options. Other than that it has pretty much everything I need and more.

I think the coolest thing about the new Fords is the SYNC. It's such a great program!

I made an appointment today with the local Line-X company. Monday at 10 AM I am getting my bed sprayed and stainless steal step bars put on. This truck is going to be awesome.
