So my ford ranger engine light came on and it was the fuel filter so we changed it. After changing the filter the truck started to idol super hard to where it’ll cut off at a stop light and the check engine light came back on hours later. It has a lot of the issues that lead to a bad O2 sensor. Would appreciate any help.

 

There is no fuel filter CODE
And no O2 sensor CODE, unless it was heater code

Post the YEAR of your Ranger and also engine model
