Hey I'm new to this site, I dont know if this is the place to post this but I'll give it a shot. I've got a 2004 Ranger XLT thats just stock and I cant do stock lol. I'm already getting some new smoked LED headlights this week, and hopefully some C bar taillights soon. Eventually I'd like to get some nice black aftermarket wheels but right now it has brand new tires on it and I'd like to use em up first. What would y'all think about painting the stock wheels black? Good idea or no? The wheels have clearcoat chips so should I sand them first or not? Thanks in advance!
Sure, you can paint rims/wheels any color you like
It can be tough to get paint to stick even after prepping the metal
And tough to get the edges next to the tire
And of course next tire change will scratch them up, so keep color match handy
