Power cutting out when trying to turn over
Just picked up a 93' 3.0 manual for my son. Kind of a beater, but ran very strong, and had relatively low miles. Now however, it will not start. I thought it may be the starter solenoid, so I replaced it; battery is fine. As soon as I try to turn the ignition, there is a click, and then power dies immediately. Then there is no electricity in the truck. If I disconnect/reconnect the battery, it will reset and I can do it again, but you know what they say about the definition of insanity.
Any insight would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
