Does anyone know how to fix the 4 wheel drive on the 04 ranger. Mine wont always turn on and it won't go in to 4 wheel low and if you turn the switch it just clicks a lot. only time it will turn on is if it is just warm enough inside and outside the truck. Can anyone tell me how to fix it please? Any advice is appreciated.

 

how long since you drained and replaced the ATF fluid inside your transfer case

a lot of gunk falls down around the front driveshaft shift collar inside the transfer case

i added 2 ounces of duralube to the fluid , even in the coldest weather outside , the transfer case shifts without issue
