2016 2.2 RANGER XLT
My quick clear Windscreen only partially works,the part that clears is on the passenger side. Am I correct in thinking that the connection is under the cowling where the rearview sits? If I am how do you remove the plastic cowling without damaging it? All help excepted.

What is a "quick clear Windscreen"?
We have windshield washers, sprays window cleaner and turns on wipers

 

A quick clear Windscreen has heated elements running through it similar to what you get on a rear screen, however they are much smaller and fainter and are shaped like a honeycomb and are used for cold frosty days.

They sound handy, never seen those on any vehicles here, the ones on the front that is, many have those on rear windows, but not pickup trucks

 

They are when they work! If mine was a LHD I wouldn't be worrying about it.
