Zach, it could as be from the torque of the pulling that your bed is twisted. It's metal and not extrememly strong metal. My thoughts would be from the way your truck was twisted it may have just twisted your bed, which honestly i hope is all that has happened. If you had a fleetside bed laying around i would definately drive to michigan and give you my flareside bed as a trade. I don't like my flareside, can't fit the quads in it like i could with my old red truck. But i'd definately get rid of the flareside in a heartbeat to help u out.

Any update on the frame situation? That’s what has me worried the most. I was hoping to hear that the body lift blocks were tweaked somehow and that was causing the bed not to sit level.

Damn dude sorry that had to happen to your truck, that realy sucks. your truck looked so perfect too, and to see it get all banged up like this sucks. You should try to get it back to how it looked before. A fleetside bed would look so badass too if you came across one.

You and Bill both have rangers that are up at the top of the list on my favorites. Both badass trucks.

It almost makes a person want to go buy an old BII or something to offroad with. Kudo's on using the truck.

made some progress today and took some pics. the bed is what seems to be really screwed up. not the frame. i plan on taking it to a frame shop to have it inspected before i put it all back together.

plan is to buy some 4"x2" tube and box the rear half by removing the spare tire thing and bracing it as much as possible with the tube. redesign of a hitch is also in the works.

here are some shots before i called it a night.

all the parts and junk fill up half the dang garage it seems

looks like a beast from the front.

I hope everything works out for you. If everything is ok what are you going to do for a bed.

I am glad that you think the frame is not bent, good idea on taking it to a frame shop to make sure. All I can think about is the what ifs and it sucks. Thats all I am thinking about at work and while I am home, I wish I lived closer.

If the frame is bent beyond repair are you gonna try to find another one or will the truck be done(R.I.P.)?
