Any knowledgeable staff at salvage yards with know more about what parts are interchangeable than anyone here especially with a general question like yours.

If you want help from this forum I highly suggest you get more specific with what exact part or parts you are looking to get from a salvage yard.

You also need to provide more detailed information about your truck.

1994 was the last year Rangers had the EEC-IV 60 wire computers, 1995 and up used EEC-V 104 wire computers

1994 was also last year of the speedometer cable, newer used electronic speedometer in the dash

1994 has the 4.0l OHV engine, used from 1990-2000 in Rangers
4.0l SOHC engines were used from 2001 and up in Rangers, different engine entirely

Manual trans would be an M5OD-R1(M5R1), used in Rangers from 1988 to 2012(end of production)
These have integrated bell housings(can't be removed), so if you need a replacement transmission it must be from a 4.0l OHV or SOHC and from a 4x4
Speedometer cable hook up is on the transfer case, if you have to change this then you need one from 1997 or older, speedo gear was removed in 1998

4x4 frames are different from 2WD
1993 to 2012 ranger body and frame parts are "mostly" the same, but the 1993 to 1997(2nd generation) body and frame parts are best bet for 1994

Mazda B-series pickups used the same parts as Rangers during the same years so are also a source for parts
B4000 had the 4.0l OHV during the same years as Rangers
