Ranger mileage

I picked up an 02 Ranger 4x4 off road with 4.0 and 5 speed manual about a month ago.Just checked my gas mileage for the 2nd time.First time was 21.3and this time was 21.6.Don't know if this is good, bad or just normal.I am very happy with this.MUCH better than the full size GMC i traded in.

Wow, that is pretty good! The best I can get is about 20 average on my '02 XLT. I have the 4.0, 2-wheel drive ext. cab with an automatic so whatever you are doing, keep doing it!

Mine is supposed to get 26 mpg highway (according to the epa when I bought it) but I've never seen better than 22 mpg. 4.0L/5speed/extcab/4x4

I'm getting around 17 in my '98 4.0 4x4 (auto trans.), no matter how I drive it. Sounds like you're doing pretty good.
