Your truck is having so many problems because its been wheeled hard, its heavily modified, and is driven daily.....those dont mix well and you know that. Your still going to break things even if you would have built it the way you want it. IMHO I think you will be better off buying a cheap beater DD, fixing or dropping in a used motor and trans, then wheel light and less frequent until you save up money to redo your sas the way you want it.

now i want an STi.. Maybe an Impreza 2.5GT, the GT has the same 2.5 Turbo engine, just a smaller turbo, detuned and a less aggressive cam. still rated at 226 ft/lbs and 224 hp which is more than enough to get me in trouble.

maybe in a few years i'll trade it in on a diesel and build another ranger.

this is all pending what the fine print of the bill says.

i traded in my truck for a pathfinder. well just while its in the shop. its definitely nice driving a reasonable road vehicle. i made the houston to austin trip using half as much gas as my truck and made it there an hour and 15 minutes faster. i dont even know what kind of trouble i would get myself into with a fast car

Your an extemist. lol. You do that and instead of suspension breakage it will be head gaskets and pistons with holes in them.

I think you should buy a bicycle.....and wear a helmet.

What you going to go wheeling in if you get a car? I cant really off road anywhere with my new truck because its to big to fit in any of my spots....it sucks donkey ***.

Is that why you want a 4wd car? I can see you taking it to the lake and on some small rocks. lol

I just like Subaru's, its a reliable car and pretty good all around. I've always liked them, i wish i could get an older generation cause i liked how they look a little more.. but i cant be too picky

AWD helps in turns, off the line, it'll help if i move back up North in the next year or two in the snow, i think i would get my self in too much trouble if i took it on a beach or something.

I was just messing with ya, I understand why you want one. I like the older style better also but the new ones are cool to.

yea, just a little more often..

I went Subaru shopping tonight (Staring at like 10pm)

Found a dealership with an STi.. not only an STi, but an unlocked STi so i got in.. andddd fell in love.

My buddy builds STis and Evos for a living, owns a 900hp STi and an Evo 10 with 4,000 miles on it.. says the Evo is falling apart already and bashed it some more, said the plastic was cheap and ****.. then highly recommended getting a Subaru. Then on top of that, he knows a guy at one of the subaru dealerships so i can get a good hook up!! I dropped by a Mitsubishi dealer on the way home, and besides the fancy seats in the Evo the rest of the interior looks like poo.

I want blue i think, maybe charcoal (gotta see it during the day)

but Definitely with this front bumper, with fog lights.. the other one looks retarded.

Then the 5 spoke wheels. The 18 spoke BBS wheels are a $2,000 option

meh, its not as bad as the old Wagons.. those are hideous.

I think it would be a better idea to get like a civic or something.. something i wont be heavily tempted to modify and spend *** loads of money on like i will if i get a Subaru. bah, i need to win the lotto

the ranger is a blast, but its a ****ty money pit.

I've turned my attention to a TDI Jetta.. rated at 40mpg but if take off the DPF junk and do a few mods i'm sure i should be able to get 50.. but still, with 40 i dont know what i would do. I'm gonna be taking a trip to Laramie in a few months, did some math and realized i can make it there AND back on less fuel than it took the ranger to get to the Kansas border ..
