Regular Cab Coat Hanger Hook

For you Reg Cab guys, is your coat hanger hook just behind the driver side seat? Mine is. Since I put my seat back all the way (6'2"), it seems it would be better to put a suit jacket on the passenger side and have it drape over the seat if a hook was there.

In my supercab it's on the driver side but then my jacket or suit drapes over my sub box.

I don't know if they came on the passenger side or not

I wouldn't see a problem with that on the x-cabs but for regs its more of a pain.

I see a new How-to for a coat hanger mod coming on.
My ex-cab has it on the DS.
Years ago they were put on both sides of cars and trucks.

Pretty much this would be the how to:

Drill hole, drill another. install.

When I pulled my headliner I dont even think there are stock holes on the passenger side.

I was thinking about barbed wire across the back of the cab about one inch from the roof.
The barbs would stop hangars from sliding back and forth.

I presume they put it on the driver's side because it would make seeing out the back more difficult if it was on the passenger side. Probably some safety regulation thing.
