You will have to lie to U-Haul and tell them you are picking it up with the ranger but towing it with a bigger vehicle. When I rented my car dolly last week they told me that my truck couldnt handle it. My truck can tow over 5k and the car was well below 4k. In class III theres no differance it when you get into load distrabution classes wich is IV and V that the square is stronger . I use to haul stuff for a living , and dont take offense when he said your truck is weak because compared to what Im using as an example Rangers are Cause on a weekly bassis I would pull almost Triple or Tow rating and on a monthly bassis in the Cumins I would tow damn near 6x our tow rating So yeah its weak .

If it was ME I would go with a good quaility somebody mentioned Valley for the weekend tow pig and the price and quality of there products its hard to beat Also just get a Class 3 hitch no need for any bigger .
