Just recently discovered the truck I just bought has a section of the frame coated with a rubber coating to avoid rust. Was reading online that these type of coating are god awful compared to por-15 which is what I was looking at getting done. Was wondering if anyone has gone through the trouble of removing a rubber coating on their truck frame or just road it out and had any problems or complaints? Other then this the frame is in decent condition a little bit of rust but no corroding holes or anything.
