Taking Flares off...
How do I go about taking them off? I took the small plastic pins off that were attached through the flare and lip of the fender. I see small screws with clips in the wheel wells, do I break the clips? Or is there a way to get to the front of them? I'm going back outside to look at it some more as I'm in a small hurry since I ahve to work in a couple hours so I thought I'd ask instead of using trial and error.

I'm painting the truck....Doing some surface rust repair and prep work. So I kind of have to take them off. And mine are grey unpainted plastic. I think I see what I have to do but the freaking screws and/or clips are going to break. I just have that gut feeling. So I'm going to look into modifiying the attachment method before I take them off.

i actually want a set of flares for my truck. However, I have a way to install that wont cath all the crap, and drain out if they do. My idea was caulking around them with silicone or something to seal them off, the drilling a little hole on each side into the flare to let out any water that may collect. this way, they wont collect all kinds of gunk
