service manual

I would like to get a service manual for free. their is a how to but the links in the how to will not work for me. The web site is www.fordcds.com and ive used the search and cannot find anything. Anybody have any ideas??

What do you mean my service manual?? like chilton or the one that comes w/ the truck??

Haha... I don't know... service makes me think Chilton but the truck comes with an owners manual and a service schedule

I can't find them online anywhere so I just bought one off of eBay. Marie they're the books that Ford gives the techs to work on the cars. I got mine for 35 shipped, which was a hella good deal. They normally go for 50+. This is the one I got:

I would rather have a cd or just the document on the labot....do like big books i lose them to easy...i have the haynes maunal but dont really like that...so it looks like im just going to have to spend the money...oh well...thanks tho for trying

Yeah, I would like to have a electronic version too. A couple people on this site have the CDs, I wish they would host them up on a server or something.

yeah that would be nice if they could put a sticky where you could download it for free.
their is a how to but none of the links will work for me and i dont know why...oh well

Yeah fordcds.com stopped hosting the stuff, no one seeds the torrents anymore either.

your talking about the full fledged hard core mechanics service book.

Just get an account with alldata. they are one of the best tech manuals you can get online and its more detailed than chiltons. it also has a search function.

I think for one truck it would be 30$ but its hella worth it. you get full tsb updates and whatnot.
