for the price, bent frame or not, try and talk him down a bit and turn it into a trail rig.

 

it does look like it could become a solid rig.

i'm not sure, what does frame straightening cost?

 

Frame straightening isn't cheap, new frame will run you about 3 grand. But you get that truck, throw some adds leafs on it, crank the torsion bars, do a body lift and rock 33s or 35s and that's a pretty solid rig and the tires would be the most expensive part of that setup.

 

see how bent it is. if its not bad don't worry about it. if its horrible don't go for it.

 

I wouldn't be afraid of the frame if it isn't bent in the front or rear but he is asking too much. If you consider the cost of paint you could have bought a truck that doesn't need paint. On the plus side its low miles and a 4.0!
