Should I sell my Heep

I have a 94 XJ i dont really drive. I found a 84 f250 on craigslist for 750 it has a 6.9L diesel and Regular cab/8ft bed. Add says runs great new inspection.

Should i sell the heep and buy the Diesel... I have always wanted a black smoke oil burner.

dont bother with any 6.9. they are crap! save up and get a 7.3. then go to a parts yard and upgrade to superduty stuff

If you really want it, go for it. Wouldn't be the end of the world if you didn't like the diesel. You could always re sell it.

Soo was the 9th generation when they started using 7.3L turbo diesels

All you would need is front axle, tranny and transfer case, and driveshafts. All good. Plus cut a hole in the floor for the 4x4 shifter.
