is something wrong with my brakes?

ive noticed that sometimes, when i'm applying pressure to my brakes and coming to a stop, it feels very 'rough'. its kinda difficult to explain what its doing, and it only seems to happen when im exiting the freeway (slowing to a stop from high speeds) or when i'm stopping on a decline. The best way i can describe it is that instead of smoothly stopping, its like a little rough, almost like the rotors have little bumps all over them that kinda roughen/vibrate the brakes. i looked at my rotors and they look fine... any ideas?

Rotors can be warped and damaged enough to not be noticable by you. But the brakes are very sensative to being on a flat surface, Change both brakes and rotors now before it gets worse.

Can you feel the pedal pulsing, You may be getting on them hard nuff to get the Anti-lock kicking in. That makes them " FEEL " rough and grindy

yea...it happens to me a lot when it rains. being on mud grips affects the stopping time and i have to push a little harder. its just your anit-lock kicking in and the tires slipping a bit.
