I love my mtr's but there not quite as smooth as the KM2's so if you really are picky about ride quality the km2 are the tires for you

My KM2s do good in the sand. I love them, ride super smooth and aren't insanely loud. They really ride just like the ATs do after 10 mph. Love em

The new MT/Rs I've heard great reviews about but I'm not a huge fan of the funky tread pattern.

The new MTR is assymetrical, not directional. I hear a lot of very mixed reviews on them.
If you are going to wheel every weekend around big sharp rocks and really need a super durable sidewall get them. Otherwise, I have read so many reviews on other sites where people were desperate to sell them after 10k miles because they wore really bad, were noisy, bouncy and couldn't be smoothed out. Some don't get that way but I have heard of a lot that do.
I had wanted them as my next tire until I started reading more reviews after people had more miles on them. I appreciate having a mud terrain and keeping the smoothness of the f150.
