Steering rattle

Steering rattle

I have a rattle in my steering column only happens at slow speeds up ten mph and at stopping and starting think it the slip shaft just have not found anyone else with this problem 2004 4x4 any ideas

For future reference, Its better to put a brief description in the title of the thread.

You can check your yoke for play, it could have come loose a bit. should just be 2 or 4 bolts that need tightening.

thanks, what yoke are you refering to, the slip shaft between the steering rack and the bulk head, firewall or the front differentail my slip shaft only has the two mounting bolts and they are tight 2004 4.0 410 gears thanks again
