Tow hitch question

I'm looking to buy a tow hitch for my 2000 ford ranger 3.0 xlt flareside. I found one on craigslist for $75, still in the box. It's made by Reese and the model # is 37042. It says it is compatible with a ton of different vehicles, including a 2000 ranger. So my question is whether or not it would matter that I have a flareside bed? I thought that the frames were the same no matter what style bed you have, but I just wanted to make sure that it would bolt on before I bought it. Thanks for the help!

You don't need to call them for anything.

The hitch will work regardless of what bed you have, the frames are the same
