tow limits on v6 ranger

tow limits on v6 ranger

i race karts my wife is starting next season right now i oull my kart to the track on 4x8 open trailer w/ 06 nissan sentra im going to have to go to a bigger trailer next season im going to get 6x12 enclosed trailer im just curious would a v6 ranger pull one? i know each kart weighs about 150lbs im guessing probably a 1000lbs total 2 karts tools stands spare tires etc. i used to own a ranger and i would really love to have another one

ive pulled a 21 ft deckboat before. lol. its fine just had a little trouble stopping it.

No problems at all. Even a 4cyl. w/manual trans. is rated to pull over 1600 lbs.

i think the gross trailer weight is like 2500 lbs but that diffrent than towing weight right

What kinda ranger you gonna get?
XLT has a lower weight capability than say the FX4 and Edge sure someone will correct me if Im wrong

Most trucks have a tow package some dont

I tow our 3500 pound boat and trailer many times during the summer. Rangers will pull it, the hard part is getting it stopped if you don't have trailer brakes (which we do). I have never been impressed with the braking ability of my truck even when it is empty and adding a heavy trailer just makes it worse.
