To trade?

So I'v been looking at getting rid of my ranger recently and been looking at cars after falling in love with my friends M3. Today I came across a 03 mustang svt cobra. Its mint but also has 95k miles on it. My truck has about 60k. Would a straight swap be worth it?

I would be iffy about it. 95k supercharged miles arnt that easy. But if you know its been well maintained then i guess its ok.

IDK man. I'd only get something with higher miles if it wasn't going to be my DD car.

Depends upon the condition of the Mustang. They might be selling it for a reason.

It depends on how well maintained it is. My buddies 03 cobra spends more time in the shop than it does in his possesion and it just rolled 40k. But they're so fun and sexy

Its from a private dealer, they really liked my truck and since they blue book around the same and I know the owners they said they would do a trade.

If I do decide to further this Im gonna take it to my mechanic and have him check out the stang to see its condition.

I'd trade it, pull the engine, and have a reliable shop build it up for you. Put all new **** it in.

I only trade up... not down. so since it has more miles, I would say no. thats just my opinion though, not saying its a bad deal for you though, I love those cars

A termi with 95k on it is still worth a lot more than a 60k 2wd 3.0l ranger, if it isn't bull**** the car is probably beat to death and about to explode lol.

If it's in decent shape I'd jump on it, but that's unlikely with the offer said.

I'd expect some heavy wear on the rear diff/IRS and would be expecting to rebuild the T56. I'd imagine the engine could have a slight to moderate amounts of wear as well, but that's just what I've seen on cheaper priced Terminators.

i agree with korey. the termi's tend to hold their value. that one tom posted seems low for a reason and so does the one your looking at.

here is what i found, mind you this is in canada.

FORD MUSTANG in LONDON, ON - AutoTrader

FORD MUSTANG in ETOBICOKE, ON - AutoTrader

$23,500 for an 03 Cobra with 4,000 miles on it? Most of the Cobra's on another website i'm on tend to go for $22,000-$24,000 like that one. There was one on there for $15,000 but I can't find the ad now. Fast Cash For Cars doesn't buy or sell crap. Not sure if Trent has seen what they have, but they don't deal with junk.

x2, but if you have the funds, rebuild the engine. You know how most of the Cobras are handled.
