Mini Cooper vs. Ranger wow, two completely different vehicles. is it really worth comparing the two?

 

i would do the trade, i was looking at an 04? cooper s when buying my truck, keeping in mind i have the SOHC 4.0, and i think you are looking at an OHV, different motor... there is a huge drop in MPG, like 4 MPG, between 70 and 80 mph... so what everyone said about drive conservitivly, is so true!

as for pickup, the ranger keeps up with the cooper, my buddy had a 05 3.0L SOHC, 2wd, and it kept up with his mom's 2002 mini cooper S, i was driving the ranger (him in the cooper) he was pulling away, but 1 missed shift and i woulda taken it for sure...

i do not regret buying my ranger at all, i love it, although i do wish that it had better fuel economy, i averaged 16.6 mpg over the last 1300 miles
