6 disc FTL. Probably won't even work once you install it.

Why say that? My '04 had the 290-watt pioneer system in it with the 6-disk deck in it. I never had a single problem out of it. I thought it was great for a stock system.

Kenwood makes a great double din head unit that will fit right in there, and if they don't include the adapter, they have them at walmart. This unit, I wish I had the model number, will play mp3 cds, hook up your ipod and its able to hook up a changer f you want.

I got one from someone on here. Said he put it in shipping mode cuz it worked fine when he removed it. I received it, hooked it up and the cd changer was jammed. Took it to the local stereo shop, guy opened it up and the innards were all jumbled up.

Heard lots of other horror stories from people buying the 6cd units second hand and the changer getting jammed up. Even the Ford dealer told me it was common.

I was going to get that same one but I would rather get the 04 with a 6disk.

The six disc ones just don't like being turned upside down and shaken. Like what is most likely going to happen to it in transit. I ganked my six disc out of a delivery truck at a local auto parts store, and it works fine.
