Hello everyone got a weird issue with my truck. I disconnected the battery , then reconnected battery and now engine will not start. Everything else electrical works such as lights, horn , radio etc. I only disconnected the battery cables for a couple minutes, now don’t start. What gives ? Why will it all of a sudden not start ? Have had 100’s of batteries in and out over the years but this has never happened. I have heard something about the computer needing to be reset , apparently after 10–15 min , but it’s now been hours. Any help would be great. 2003 ford ranger . Thanks

Update . There was a aftermarket button under the dash that someone had installed, I pushed it and voila it worked , started right up. I just purchased the truck , would have been nice if the previous owner had informed me of that , it it’s all good now . Thanks
