want to do 01 front end swap on my 98, need help

want to do 01 front end swap on my 98, need help

just wondering what parts ill need to do this, and if there are any custom mods i need to do to make this work. pics would help if you did this too. i know its popular to do.

obviously i need the headlights and the grille, other than that im not too sure.

thanks in advance for the help!

header panel, you don't need a hood, but its up to you.

There is a turn signal bulb that goes in the headlight. You will need the the socket/wiring pig tail that the bulb goes in. I know the one from my truck wouldn't work. I hope you understand what part I'm talking about. If not, I can take a picture tomorrow of what I'm talking about.

You can reuse all of the bolts from your header panel on the new one which is good.

Also need 01+ pigtails for the running lights in the corners. My turn signal one worked, but its very loose.

i didn't need either of those things on mine. buy mikes stuff, its all you'll need.

It took me about 30 minutes to swap the header panel, install the new relay, headlights, grille. week later someone found me a powerdome hood for 100 that was the same color as my truck and the bumper, valence and fogs came later.

same color as your truck too

Hmm, see I needed it on mine. Me and my dad looked and there was no way to get mine to work. Plug had different plastic tabs in it than the newer style.
