What is minimum thickness Ranger Rotors can be turned
I searched the forums before posting did not get a number
I have the 2003 Ranger V6 3.0 XLT
Napa can’t tell me
Oreillys I got 2 different numbers
I Am googling but not finding the magic number , I would like to turn the Rotors (if possible) and measure them myself before removing everything and doing the work.
my local Oreillys said it could be 4-5 hours before I get them back
Thank You

Attempting to work smarter, but finding even that can be hard.

You can turn them and use them one time
Problem is they will not last you very long because they were already minimum thickness for heat dissipation, to try and prevent warping when over heated, so if thinner they will warp much sooner
Its not dangerous for cracking, too thin, just too thin to last very long without warping
Replace with new
