The only thing I dont really like about my 4cyl is that it sounds like a 4cyl......i want to put a muffler on it, but dont want it to sound anything like a rice burner. My brother had a 3.0 ranger and had it straight piped, and it sounded pretty good.

Yea, my brothers ranger was a 3.0 4x4, and I think my 2.5 2wd ranger has the same get up and go, and alot better gas mileage. (the 3.0 only has about 35 more hp and 35 more ft tq. than the 2.5l)

3.0L- once you get some bolt on mods done to it, these lil motors perk right up

I'm not really complaining, the 4.0L automatic I test drove a few months ago didnt leave me grinning like I thought it would, now that '05 GT that I drove..haha different story.
