it's hard to tell without knowing what your truck is. that window will only fit an 83-97 reg cab (roped in gasket). will not fit any ext cabs, or 98+ reg cabs(bolt in).

 

of course you're right i missed the reg cab part. definitely looks like your a 98+ so i'm gonna have to say no probably not.

no.....the rear windows in xcab are bigger than the rear windows in reg cab....the yrs doesnt matter

 

rear windows in 93-97 are butal roll. i know, casue mine was a PITA when it was leaking.

98+ reg cabs use the same window as the ext cabs.


gen 3 ext cabs use butyl tape around them. 97 and older reg cabs use a gasket that sits over the pinch weld. 98+ reg cabs use the butyl as well.

yep. it was black vinyl at one time, orange canvas, yellow/teal vinyl, then finally black canvas before i sold it.

 

He says it will fit but I'm starting to wonder if I should cancel my bid on it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Oh yeah, I have a 2006 Sport/extended cab. I just got it and that's what it was listed as but it my be an XL.

 

No, it won't fit.
Compare the pics in post #8 above.
In the top pic the top corners are almost squared off , where in the bottom pic the corners are quite rounded.

 

yeah, that's def a roped in window. up to 97 reg cabs only. i hardly trust ebay sellers. most dont know what they will interchange with.

 

so did you win it? since he said it will fit an 06 hes obligated to make good on that, so you better let him know before he ships it that you don't want it.
