Worked the Ranger today...
Ran out to my dads, picked up his 16' double axle trailer and 24hp New Holland 4x4 compact tractor with the front end loader on. About a 100 mile round trip. Once that was done, made 3 trips down the street (10 mile round trips) hauling 2 yards of top soil each on the trailer (thats alot of weight! 35mph max) to fill in around our new patio. Ranger did just fine....didn't really care for pulling the 2 yards of soil each but I took it real easy and it was a short drive so all is well. Gotta run dads tractor back out to him tomorrow too. Seems like I work harder when I have a week off...lol Unfortunately I didn't need to use 4x4 any...this is the first 4x4 I've owned and I guess I'll have to wait for winter
yes they can... i had to haul 4ft x 2.5ft x 1in sheets of limestone stacked 3 high in the bed for my uncle to bring to his house from my grandparents house. it was only a 4 mile trip one way but the ranger was squatting pretty good but it held up
just recently i had to haul my F550 work truck back to work with a blown engine... damn u 6.4l powerstroke
